Alaska
My brother Harry ( Butch) and I are traveling to Kenai, Alaska from Everett, Washington on 8 August 2007 on our Harley Davidson motorcycles. We will post our adventures to this blog on a daily basis starting the day we leave Everett. Below are two maps showing the route that we are taking to Kenai, AK, along with some mileages. Jim, via cruise ship and a little tour at Skagway, we will be at the summit at White Pass on 9 Aug around 11:00 AM. We will almost be somewhere relatavely near to where you and your brother are. I'm glad it's you guys and not me that are riding motorcycles all that distance. I admire your spirit of adventure. I was young once. gwh
Good luck you two! We are excited to see the daily reports on how the trip is going. Is this the same as a mid-life crisis trip, Dad?? Ha ha ha-It'll be exciting to see if this another trip gets planned after this one. Is it your goal to travel to all 50 states on the bikes?
